Sounds like sour grapes to me, funds are available, but not just given to just any project. Carriage Town is located in a strategic location, based on that fact it needs to be cleaned up. Its sandwiched between Kettering and U of M and Downtown and Hurley. Given its location we can't allow it to be blighted, its in the best interest of the whole city to clean up this area. Actually the City of Flint has identified Historic Carriage Town and the Third Ave. Corridor as high priority.
