Author    Post   Dave Starr F L I N T O I D My summer tax bill is about $200.00 higher than last year. I expected the $66.05 for street lights, but what surprised me was the garbage "tax". The "tax rate" is listed as 0, and the "tax" is $143.00. I'll grit my teeth, cut back somewhere & pay it, but I wonder how many won't. I'm somewhat undecided between a pitchfork or torch for the upcoming march on city hall. _________________ I used to care, but I take a pill for that now. Pushing buttons sure can be fun. When a lion wants to go somewhere, he doesn’t worry about how many hyenas are in the way. Paddle faster, I hear banjos.
