In a bold move, the State of Michigan has pulled the liquor license of a notorious flint nightclub. The decision was made after the club was once again the scene of deadly violence, with two people shot and killed.
The homicide detective that's looking into four murders this year outside flint's club XClusive is happy the popular club has been shutdown by the state. At a press conference on September 16th, the acting chief of police told TV5 his department has spent tens of thousands of dollars taking 9-1-1 calls, patrolling the Clio Road establishment, and investigating various crimes that happen in and outside "Club XClusive".
On September 10 th around 1:00am, ninety-six bullets were fired when two hi-powered guns were used to kill two men in their mid-twenties. Club XClusive, has also been the scene of dozens-more shootings and assaults over the years and now that the state pulled its alcohol permit. Law enforcement believes there's a strong message to be read between the lines. City leaders vow any business courting a criminal element will also be closed.
