The Federal Drug Admininstration (FDA) has approved the morning after pill. The pill does not prevent (STD's). This contraceptive is designed and available to women to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Some proponents say its a good thing, others say it will promote risky behavior and promiscuity among young girls. One thing is for certain you cannot prevent people from engagining in risky behavior. Nor can government legislation, prayer, education, or abstinance alone prevent unwanted pregnancies. The question then becomes is the morning after pill the answer or one of the answers to the prevention of unwanted pregnancies and unwanted children?
