On the heels of Detroit extending their water line passing through Flint and North Oakland County to create a water loop, Flint is putting its own water line proposal on fast forward.

I've had a lot worse. Ever drank the water in Florida?

Michigan's water rates quite highly relative to many other parts of the country.

I remember a LOT of the Washington state crowd here for the Superbowl really were struck by the "quality" or taste of our water too. I understand Seattle's municipal water is rather poor, [from a cousin who lives there and was here]

yeah Florida water isn't very good either.

I don't think I'd go out of my way to drink water directly from any stream/river in Michigan....you never know who's putting what into it upstream.

that is why we have water treatment plants.

they are not just for effluence anymore.
