Was it a bad thing to make fun of the none-educational system in Flint??
Here is a question from the test:
Ramon has an AK-47 with a 30-round mag. He usually misses six of every 10 shots and he uses 13 rounds per drive-by shooting. How many drive-by shootings can Ramon hit before he reloads?

And then I thought... while my parents probably would've been angry, I probably would have paid a lot more attention to my math problems if it talked about drive bys, drugs, etc, instead of apples, puppies, and rainbows.
But I can't really understand how an actual Flint student would feel... |

Regardless of hits & misses, he can do 2 drive-bys per clip and have 4 rounds left in each clip.  |

Not at all.. It's actually very funny for local radio. Most of the morning shows are never funny.

Welll in case your wondering here is the complete test. Jeez lighten up its a friggin joke for crying out loud a joke that does have some merit. Flint didnt get to be in the top 5 most violent cities by accident. By the way I dont see any outrage when stupid tv shows, Hollyweird or members of this forum decide to chastise or ridicule "Rednecks, Trailer trash" or any other obviously caucasian group. I think its amusing funny, and unfortunatly in the case of Flint pretty much true. I also have to say that if this Johnny Burke guy( whom i have never heard by the way) loses his job over this I hope he sues somebodys ass off and wins for their selective use of what is free speech. By the way I hope many students read this and decide they do not want to be included amongst those referred to in the joke.  MATH PROFICIENCY EXAM

Yes, it's unfortunate that, in this day and age, people can be so racist.
It's also unfortunate that Flint, over the past forty years, has become one of the most unliveable places on earth -- at the top of the list with Baghdad and Mogadishu and Detroit -- thanks to the activities suggested by that math test.
It's also unfortunate that we have Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and people of their ilk reminding the public on a daily basis that black people are different than everyone else and deserve special treatment
It's also unfortunate that, almost every time I read the Flint Journal, some horrible crime is being reported and, in the overwhelming majority of cases, the perpetrators are either black or Spanish. The paper doesn't have to print their pictures. Their names give them away.
WHNN owes no one an apology.
It is society at large that is owed an apology by the black community for entire cities gutted by roaming gangs of blacks, after over a half century of desegregation, social welfare, affirmative action, hiring quotas, and numerous other concessions. What a strange way to show appreciation.

Yes, they are different, but raising the awareness that we still have a long way to go with racism and sexism is bad...........okayy.

Using the two biggest race baiting racists on the planet as examples of who raises awarness to exactly the game these two clowns play everyday of their lives is an interesting concept. As far as them fighting sexism well old Jesse does his part by comforting as many sisters that face that problem as he can.
