Any ideas what you are going to do with your government check when it arrives in May? I think Bush is counting on you running right out and spending it.

Gonna pay off the car, or pay off a little bit of credit card debt and buy my son a new bed. Not necessarily in that order. |

Probably end up using ours on this ambulance. I expect to spend about 8 grand on it just to get it road worthy. Thank you Mr. Bush!

The last time that we received one of the refunds, I purchased a bed for my middle child, so the last child could have the toddler bed. Now that the last child is getting bigger it's time for a new one. He has one of those cool blue fisher price race car beds with the wheels on it. He does NOT want to let that go!!! Oy. |

At
today's
prices, it will buy about 3.5 gallons of regular gas a week for a year. Much less for those who drive diesel-fueled vehicles and travel much distance. Wheat, Soy Prices Double, Corn up 40%--watch food prices rise. It won't buy any extras but may help keep budget from going in the hole for a short time. |

it will probably go to pay off our new car. We just bought a new malibu to replace my husbands civic (yay! we are a family of GM-vehicle owners again!) and our goal is to pay it off in less than a year. If we can do that, I can replace MY 14 year old sunbird in about two years... hurray! |

We'll use ours to get things we need for the pond we're putting in the back yard. It should just about cover the liner & pumps. |
