If you know me you will not find this strange for me to do. I drove by the closed Collins (used to be Reigle) Funeral Home monday morning and low and behold one of the doors had been kicked in. No surprise there to anyone I'm sure. So while the wife stood guard I creeped in for a few pictures. Vandals continue to do their stuff. One of the visitation rooms was set up as a crack/drinking/sex room. I did not venture into the building too much just the main floor and was out in 2 minutes.
Last picture shows what it looked like just a couple years ago after it had been closed for a year or two at that time.

So, where were you Sunday? We missed you at the orgy/get together. |

Thanks for sharing that Richard... I think. I'm not sure which is worse, the photos or your description.
Please be careful. I don't want you to be victim #11 this year. |

Honestly, we got up Sunday and headed to Sleeping Bear Dunes and just forgot about it. On our way back to Flint while in Traverse City, Terri turns to me and says, "Hey, what about the meeting at the White Horse?" Of course this was Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and just could not make it back in time. I actually did not want to bring it up for fear ya'll would be upset so, "I apologize for not making it and hope you guys had a good time".

Only 10 so far in 2008, I think that may be pretty good for Flint. We did get brave and drive down Saginaw St. Friday night north from downtown to the Mt. Morris area. My wife made me put the top up on the renatl car though as if that may stop a bullet.

I honestly thought I could purchase this place and reopen as a discount funeral home. So much for that idea.
This makes a grown man cry.......
