Of course we will now have the Obama water boys and girls come forth to tell us we cant hold Baracko accountable for all his endorsements. Much like he cant be tied to every whacko past and present acquaintance. |

Pakistan - interesting question. I wish I knew the answer.
ALL politicians tell us what they think we want to hear.
I'm thinking that they don't get very specific for several reasons.
1. The other side would jump all over them.
2. They don't want us to know what they're really thinking.
3. They really don't know. |

I get the feeling that if elected Obama would leave Russia and Venezuela alone, since Chávez is blowing a lot of hot air, but why Pakistan?
Apparently intelligence reports indicate Osama bin Ladin is in Pakistan and militant groups/terrorists/Al Qaeda are doing well in Pakistan. |

Is Obama talking about going into Pakistan, or leaving them alone? I know he's talked about going in, but I'm not sure if he's changed his mind or not. |

You may doubt it but it certainly appears to be happening. Wouldn't your post have been better if it would have been I seriously HOPE not. Maybe you better check out my post above. Their was a song many years ago called "To know him is to love him" I believe a new version could be "To know him is to leave him" In reference of course to the Messiah, Barack Hussein Obama. |

If you're not sure where he stands, listen to him as he is interviewed by one of his toughest critics in the press: Bill O'Reilly on FOX. About 30 minutes total:
Part 1 of 4
Part 2 of 4
Part 3 of 4
Part 4 of 4
Final Comments
An Obama administration won't be a bunch of liberal kooks or socialists as the Republicans would have you believe. That's fear talk, designed to persuade weak minds. However, he will be more left of center and progressive than McCain. Reasonable conservatives can make this case, and I won't argue with them.
McCain promises change. Even with Palin, he will continue Bush's right-centrist policies. But he's safe.
Obama promises change too, and he will move us away from the policies of the last 8 years. But he's "different" and therefore harder to trust. |

One of my main concerns is Barackos interpretation of the second amendment. He flunks on every score. If you cant trust honest citizens to have the means of self protection you are not going to get my vote or millions of others. He can run but he cannot hide on that issue. It did Gore in it did Kerry in and its gonna end Baracks aspirations. Im sure their are many of you that believe going more left is a good thing on the other hand their are just as many who are opposed to a return to the Carter days. Been there done that. And before you come up with the old "you cant be a single issue voter" crap lets just say that if Baracko suddenly came out and said I am now sort of pro life and I approve of Abortion only in limited terms such as rape incest or proven harm to the birthing mom. Ill bet his white house dreams would vanish with that one statement. At least the issue that's important to many of us has to do with the means of protecting life not the sure practice of ending it. |

TT, I agree. Obama is pandering to a small part of the Dem base on this issue, knowing full well he will never get a gun control bill through Congress. He should just be honest with them, and quit pissing off gun owners.
I believe Michigan's right to carry laws passed a few years ago should be a model for the entire country.
However, it would be a lot easier if the NRA policed themselves. I've been to gun shows where a few people sold anything to anybody, no questions asked. they don't care what happens to the gun as long as they make a quick buck. The rest of the dealers are afraid to call them out, for fear of being called traitors or liberals. |
