That is awesome. I wish that attitude was more prevalent.
I won't name names, but after watching the inaugeration speech in January, I overheard someone in the upper echelon of management scoff at the idea of "selfless people who would rather cut their hours than see a friend lose their job." |

There was a school system in Maine that did that about 2 months ago? It was a small town, and small towns tend to stick together. But what struck me is..this is a big city and a big hospital....if it can happen there, why can't it happen in other places...I guess that that's rhetorical.
I am sorry that you had to hear that...makes you wonder if it was really worth working for that particular person, eh? |
