I thought that with the special council meeting on the budget, with the administration slated to present more details about their proposed budget, Walling would attend. Sounds like he didn't. With web's posting on Freeman telling Eason to go back & tell the mayor no, plus his most recent entry on Twitter, I guess he had better things to do.

It becomes more obvious every day who really runs things at city hall. |

You're right Dave. It's more and more obvious that no one is running City Hall. |

It reminds me of a time at work when someone asked who was in charge. I replied: "Nobody; we just run amok around here."
Has anyone looked into the possibility of as grant to restore the Police? |

Come on you guys, do you really expect more out of this guy?
He is just happy to finally get a pay check and pay down his American Express card. He needs to mingle amongst the rest of the people in the state so he can land another job sucking off the public tit somewhere else after the recall is over.

My guess is that the Mayors Political career is over,at least as far as holding another elected office.Maybe he is begining to understand that.
We need to recall the Mayor, reorganize city government, and revive Flint.. First things first . |

I wonder if he will resign before the recall can collect enough signatures? A lot of elected officials do before a recall goes that far, unless they are close enough to the end of their term to stretch it out until they are done. Resignation looks a lot better on a resume than recalled. I also wonder if he is pompous enough to believe that he won't get recalled. He has thoroughly pissed off most of the voters in the area.
BTW.. Where are the petitions located? My fiancee and I along with our neighbors are registered voters and would love to know where to sign this thing to throw Walling's incompetent a$$ out of office. |

I think he's so full of himself that he actually believes it won't happen.
Are you by chance on FB? There is a recall walling page and they are organizing a meeting. I'm not sure who is behind this group, but they state they are not affiliated with Davenport. |
