FLINT, Michigan — Pure Pro Wrestling is hosting two live wrestling events Friday and Saturday to benefit the Flint Police Activities League and two community centers.

Wrestling events are scheduled at 7 p.m. both Friday at the Haskell Community Center, 2201 Forest Hill Ave. and Saturday at the Brennan Community Center, 1301 Pingree Ave.

Proceeds will benefit the league and community centers, which provide programs for Flint youth.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a meet and greet with Petey Williams and other Pure Pro Wrestling stars.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children 5 and younger. If you buy two adult tickets, you can receive one free and fans who buy tickets for Friday's event can attend Saturday's event for half price.

Pure Pro Wrestling has held other fundraisers in the past several months for Northridge Academy in Flint and to help raise money for a new playground at the Flint School District's Doyle Ryder Elementary School.

Details and ticket reservations: (810) 845-3962 or www.prowrestlingatitsfinest.com.

Haskell can be used for youth programming but mini-station is still not operational. Also Haskell is not available for any evening meetings.

Gee, at the last neighborhood inaction session at Hurley, the suiperchief said it was available for meetings & to just call Rhoda to set it up. Laughing

Rhoda doesn't return anyone's calls so how can she set up an appointment or schedule a meeting. There obviously is no officer assigned to the night shift.

Rhoda is useless. She can barely help set up Wallings action meetings.

I thought that part of "registering" was so a "representative" could attend their meetings. I got a call & was asked when our meetings were. We had one yesterday, right on schedule, and no "representative" showed up. Maybe our area's too dangerous for them?? Shocked

If one HAD attended, we probably would have saved the discussion about CPL's & going to the range until they left. Wouldn't want to upset their sensitivities. Laughing
