The folks at Lawndale & Hamilton that had the fenced yard & chickens have removed the fence & the chickens are gone.
BUT NOW, there's 3 fully grown turkeys, a tom & 2 hens, & a large white duck roaming the area. It just gets better every day! I wouldn't mind a couple sheep to keep all the lawns of abandoned houses around here neatly "mowed". |

Turkeys you say? Hmmmmmm, seems to me that Thanksgiving is just around the corner and if you are fast and stealth you might be able to get a free meal!

Adam Gerics once had chickens and goats at his Stone Street home. The city took him to court.
A lady on Parkside had both goats and chickens last year. Really created quite a stir. |

No need to be fast & stealthy. When we drove by there yesterday, 2 kids were feeding them bread crumbs and were close enough to touch them. |
