1600 union officials claim there is a 4-6% raise on the table. author unknown. seems to be the mayor is trying to drum up city worker support for his campaign by throwing the city's money around.
good for the workers, too bad less than 100% of them live in the city. they are the one's that did all the work on the roads of the city that all the mayor supporters rave about and take responsibility for. THE WORKERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT! not the mayor. the mayor appointed an excellent grant writer to finance the resurfacing, but the city workers that so many call lazy, sleepy, ect... fixed the city's roads.
anyway, i don't think 4% will the same number of votes that 6% will. |
