I heard Dale Kildee was retiring soon and won't be finishing his term. Do you know he's 82? Will his son Dan take his seat. Good grief, I hope it's not Leyton.

What other elected offices are up for grabs next fall 2012? Any judgeships? Council positions? Sherriff? prosecutor? Lansing state senate or local representatives to Lansing? Can someone who knows give a comprehensive list?

Dan Kildee is Dale Kildee's nephew, not his son. Dan announced today that he is running for the soon-to-be-vacated seat.

I believe State Rep. Woodrow Stanley will soon be term limited and there may be a vacancy there.
