Flint emergency manager Michael Brown has canceled his monthly meeting with the Flint City Council, citing a scheduling conflict.
The meeting had been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, but Brown's office sent out a news release Tuesday evening saying he had an out-of-town meeting to attend.
There is no indication yet whether or not the meeting will be rescheduled.
The next meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 11.

"Scheduling conflict" huh? Is that what they are calling the search for a clue these days.

Why do these meetings keep getting cancelled. The public has the right to sit in and hear what is going on. It just leads to frustration for the residents. Sounds to me like what ever they have to say is not for certain ears. With that being said, it makes them look like they have some thing to hide. |
