Public Education, a nation at risk. Who's in charge? America needs a comprehensive reform strategy, one without the tax payer money grabbers, the shrewed embezzlers or political interferences. Is it possible that the great education reform era of the 1980's has already come and gone? The numerous commissions and reports, have not culminated in significant changes in the nation's educational systems or processes. America continues to lag behind all other industrialized nations. Why? Is this simply a case of failed reforms? Ones that we have dismissed as the efforts of well intended, but longer on rhetoric than results. Whats your opinion? |
