In response to the Flint Journal article on how the Durant Hotel is on shaky ground in terms of it being restored or renovated, why aren't the owners of the hotel advertising smarter?
The National Trust has space on its website and in its quarterly magazine for historic properties for sale, including distressed properties. If the Durant is shown to people who are looking for such a property to save, its more likely to be a jewel for Flint again, instead of just vacant space.

I hear the new report done on the Hotel shows its a very sound building. I believe this project will be going forward to being restored.

| Everyone needs to talk to their county commissioner and express their support of the County getting behind this project. They have worked out a great deal but it is expensive. It would be the best thing for downtown yet and could serve both UM and KEttering. Don't let those out county commissioner stop this project. We need it |
