Here's the recurring theme about Dale Weighell.
Again and again I hear people say, "he's creepy"
Not sure why they get that impression. I've met the guy and he seems like a decent fella.
But the consensus is that he's odd. I don't think "odd" flies well in the political spectrum.
First of all Dale is the farthest from creepy. Second of all..dont we have actual issues to talk about in this city instead of ridiculous comments about tan people and and oddness....and where campaign headquarters are. BTW his headquaters is operated out his home but not in his bedroom !

Why doesn't Dale have a campaign HEADquarters like the rest of the real candidates? I am sorry but the way Dale is running this campaign he isn't going to make it out of the August Primary!
The sad truth is the two people making it out of the August primary will be
Don "Who Cares about you" Williamson
and
Norm " Let me Cut the dead ends off" Bryant |

So what would that prove?
Why waste money foolishly just to prove you have a campaign headquarters?
How does having a campaign headquarters make you a better Mayor?
I don't see the any reason to have a headquarters. Unless your group is so big it must have more room.
Just rent a hall if you need to. |

All this talk about headquarters and other stuff is marginal.
What's important are issues and message.

I mean if your going to run Michigan's 5th largest City you need to be organized. Dale's HEADquarters are in his house! ( from what I hear ).

what does the location of his HQ have to do with being organized.
heck, it probably gives him a leg up. he can get rolling faster in the morning. He rolls out of bed right into his paperwork, before getting his morning coffee.
he can sit on the throne passing edicts while reviewing potential administration selections.
how can one get more efficient and multi-task better than that?
maybe if he wins, he'll move into his office at City Hall, and be on the job 24/7 |

HAHA.... I like how you think Biggie!.. actually it is much more cost and time efficient to have the headquarters in the home.

I am sure you guys read the awesome article in last weeks Sunday Journal about Sybyl Atwood. Here is an endorsement article for Dale. It should be in the Flint Journal soon in the next couple days:::::::::::::::::
Weighill endorsed by local leaders::::::::::::::::::::
Longtime community activist Sybyl Atwood and former Flint City Councilman Lawrence Murphy have endorsed Dale Weighill’s campaign for Mayor of Flint.
“I believe Dale’s successful experience as the Resource Center’s Chief Executive is what we need in the Mayor’s office,” said Atwood. “We need someone who understands Flint’s challenges and has the ability to be an outstanding CEO for this community.”
Weighill has served as the Resource Center’s President & CEO since 2000. Atwood recently retired from her position as the Resource Center’s Program Director for Volunteer Services. She was honored in 2006 for her forty year career in the local nonprofit sector.
“Dale Weighill feels strongly that the Mayor and City Council should find ways to work together to solve Flint’s problems,” said Murphy. “I am confident that a Mayor Weighill would bring a refreshing professionalism and dignity to our city’s executive branch.”
Murphy served two terms as the Councilman for Flint’s Eighth Ward. He left the Council in 2005 |
