That is for sure something thats needed, I hope they take SUFFICENT security steps to protect the employees and customers. LT you dont have to leave the beautiful state of Mi just make it over the Kawkawlin bridge and everything changes. |

The grocery store will actually be in the former Hats by Jake Building Across from the old Herlichs Drug Store Building, The building was originally built as a Good Year tire store over 50 years ago and renovated in the 1980-'s for Austins Paint. We will have a well lighted parking lot along with security. We are talking about offering a delivery service within the greater downtown area. We are interested in getting feed back on what is on your grocery list when you go to the grocery store. What types of products do you buy from a grocery store deli or what prepared food would interest you the most. |

For those living, or thinking about living, downtown, the delivery service should be very attractive. |

The sad part is that there is this much excitment for a grocery store opening!
I understand its been a while but you would think Jim Blanchard and Donny Osmond were coming to cut the ribbon for AutoWorld!
We all know how long that stayed in business.
Best of luck! |

This is very exciting. I can't wait to have a reason to walk somewhere. I hope this increases the amount of foot traffic in downtown, something I long to see. |

Dont forget what happens to prices when you are the only game in town. Ill bet one shopping trip to the new store will have most folks scrambling back to Meiers for their weekly grocery shopping. |

In downtown Flint I do, yes indeedy. I like feeling like I'm on a mission. If I just want a walk, typically I wait until I get home so I can enjoy the nature park rather than the chances of vehicular manslaughter |
