Has anyone went to the main Flint public library lately? Its falling apart, leaking roof, equipment wore out, floors in bad shape etc... They really needto renovate this gem in the city of flint to make it a top notch facuility again! Its a great library, but it needs lots of work!

Looked fine to me last time I was there. Didn't they just do some major renovations within the last year? |

I've been there and haven't seen the damage you're noting here. Is there someone who wants this building too? |

You beat me to the punch, 00SL2,
they are planning a huge renovation. A little over a year ago, I voted on one of the designs during a DAR meeting. (The one with the separate space for genealogy research, thank you very much). I'm looking forward to the start of the renovation.....
... as long as they don't tear any historic buildings down to do it..... |

Unfortunately, Michigan is noted for potholes, particularly with sudden changes in weather as we've been having. Even Miller Road has developed a few new ones which were filled within a day or two. If there was a leak in the library it must have been addressed rather rapidly. Roof, plumbing, do you know what it was? |
