They should have listened to what my mother told me upon entering the workforce:
"Don't get your meat, where you make your bread!" Ouch. |

I've been reading the comments left on the Free press' web site, and some of them really disgust me. A lot of people are saying that it's nobody's business what Kwame does in private. No mention of the 3 Police officers that had their careers and lives destroyed by his attempts to cover this up. No mention of the $9 Million it cost the taxpayers in Detroit. |

hold up now...i met mayor coleman young. i've researched him
also. that man took a lot of crap for a long time. actually, i'm still
proud of him. i've got a book of coleman young quotes.
1.on cussing "swearing is an art form. you can express yourself much more
directly, much more exactly, much more succinctly, with properly used
curse words".
2. via closed-circuit tv from hawaii, greeting the annual "steakout" party
of detroit journalists. "aloha mother***kers"!
3. after one term, on what he disliked most about being mayor.
"the s**t i have to take off the media".
4. in 1952 the mcCarthy era was in full swing. coleman young, then a
34 year old labor organizer stunned the house committee on un-american
activities. on hearing the huac attorney slur the word negro. "that word
is negro, not niggra, speak more clearly"!
a funny guy, a serious guy. i was in awe of him!!
actually, i kinda view williamson as that type of guy.
if you kats can get 1200AM wchb listen tomorrow morning at mildred
gaddis' show for the low down on kwame.

Detroit Mayor Names New Chief of Staff
2008-01-29 20:47:26
By COREY WILLIAMS Associated Press Writer
DETROIT (AP) — Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick named a new chief of staff Tuesday, a day after the woman who previously held the post resigned amid allegations that she and the mayor lied under oath about an affair.
Kandia Milton, who has served as deputy chief of staff and liaison to Detroit's City Council, was appointed to Christine Beatty's job, Kilpatrick announced in a written statement released Tuesday.
The mayor's office also said he planned to address the city for the first time since the scandal broke, with a Wednesday night address from his church. He is not expected to answer questions from the media, spokesman James Canning said. |

I'm sure it will be on at least one of the Detroit stations. Per one of the Detroit papers, there will be only one pool camera in the church. No one other than Kwame will be allowed in the church, and there will be no interviews after the statement. |
