Koegels No longer Make certain Sandwich Meats. Two that I know of are HONEY STYLE LOAF, and ANY HAM sandwich meats.

I Hope They do not decide to eliminate My PICKLE BALONEY and RED HOTS . or their FRANKS .

A Call to Koegels confirms this , But I was Not given a Reason for the discontinuing of Certain lunch Meats.

OMG!!! I hope they don't stop making hot dogs. I wouldn't even have a reason to stop while passing through flint if I couldn't get a coney.

Isn't it a shame what has happened to Angelo's. Used to be it would be hopping 20 hrs a day. Now I drive by and there are two cars in the parking lot at lunch time.

If you've eaten there since it was sold, you'd know why.

I quit going there after the health inspectors found the mouse droppings in the coney sauce. Shocked
Heres a few thoughts on Angelos
http://search.cityguide.aol.com/flint/restaurants/angelos-coney-island/v-104835510/reviews

Since most of my career was spent on 3rd shift I got to know the late night goings on at just about every coney island in the area. Angelos, broadway, niteowl, starlight, olympic, Kostas, Gillys, they all had at one time or another respectable coneys. As the years progressed the happenings also got more entertaining. Laughing

Starlight is still good. Just finished one of their cheeseburgers for lunch.
