If she thinks she's going to put it all behind her and get on with her life, she's somewhat mistaken.
This is only the beginning.
At firsi I thought it would be too bad if she only served 23 months, considering the dozens of lives she ruined.
But 23 and out might not be so bad after all.
Why should she get free room and board courtesy of the state of Michigan (translation: the taxpayers whom she ripped off in the first place) for the full ten years?
Actually, if things get as bad as some say they will -- food shortages, no food at all, no one accepting paper money, urban guerilla warfare in the streets -- prison might be the safest place to be, and she'd have the last laugh on all of us.
So turn her loose after 23 months. Let's see how she does when she's out in the world, on her own, without the state to take care of her.
And -- if you're reading this, love -- personally, I think Roe v. Wade came two years too late for the world to be saved from you, but may you live a long and healthy life. Each day will be another day of God's punishment for your actions. The Lord really does work in mysterious ways. |

Yes, I know ... more missing money. Along has come another chance for the criminal justice system to actually live up to its name. The Genesee County prosecutors sold out dozens of her victims just to get her out of the way as soon as possible.
This news also means that her two legal assistants are not out of the woods yet. They had to know what was going on in that pack rat's nest office of hers. FYI, Matt Chambers and Brendan Mata: the charge is called "accessory to a felony."
Ever go to someone's house where there are stacks of books, and newspapers, and file folders, on every flat surface, and there's no place to sit because there's also stuff on every chair? Her office was worse than that. Stacks of papers and books and what-not everywhere is not part of being a little eccentric. It's a sign of serious mental illness.
Open letter to any of the disgraced former attorney's friends who might also read this: tell her to stop blaming her husband for her situation. Remind her that she is the one in prison. Not him.
And to stop blaming her situation on her multi-racial background. ("I wasn't sure who I was.") Tiger Woods is multi-racial and he didn't have to steal from strangers who trusted him in order to make it in the world. Not sure who she was, but that didn't stop her from declaring herself Black to take advantage of what affirmative action (thank you, liberals!) offered her on her way through law school. President of the black law students association at UC-Berkeley. Wasn't hard for her to figure out then what she was.

| LT, it has NOTHING to do with color. People that attend colleges like Berkeley sometimes have a feeling of superiority and entitlement. The recent foolishness in Berkeley has reinforced this for me. I've met quite a few in my day. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. |

Just to add to my previous post........
That cartoon is very true.
In my lifetime, I've served in the military with blacks, worked with them for 40 years, and have lived in an almost 100% black neighborhood since the 70's. Not bragging, stating fact. In that time, I've only met ONE black person that thought he was entitled to something because of his race. That was at work, and he did not get what he was after. |

It's possible that, as a condition of her release, she will not be allowed to use plastic. See the story in Saturday's paper. This I didn't know, not being a criminal myself. But an attorney would definitely be aware of this possibility.
Since her bank accounts have been emptied or frozen, she would have no use for a debit card. But a credit card would be very helpful.
No credit card would mean she'd need some cash for when she gets out.
There's more cash somewhere. Probably buried in someone's back yard. After all, that's what friends are for! |
