While in Flint last week I could not resist going by the old closed Collins Funeral Home on the corner of Clio Rd. and Stewart Ave. The place was boarded up not allowing access whatsoever.
Each time I visit Flint I have to swing by and do a walk though. Oh well, I'm sure the crack heads will rip the boards off again and perhaps on a future visit I can stroll down memory lane.

Strange. Flint seems to b the only place where funeral homes close. Browns closed down a couple years ago. I would think the business of death would always grow. I guess in a depressed economy, people can't even afford to die anymore. |

Brown had both locations for years.
As for funeral homes closing, less population means less dead people. |
