Author    Post   Dave Starr F L I N T O I D We had a fire down the street this morning. Nobody home, so no injuries, but a lot of fire & smoke damage on the second floor & water damage on the first. A problem arose in trying to contact the owners. The lady was at work, and her daughters in school. Finally, a neighbor girl remembered the daughter's cell number & called her and she called her mom at work. Get your neighbor's work or cell numbers so they can be contacted when something like this happens. _________________ I used to care, but I take a pill for that now. Pushing buttons sure can be fun. I called the child's school and told them that there was an emergency....um, the house is burning call the emergency number on the child's card...that worked pretty fast.
