Hi,
My mother and I were talking the other day about business we remember being located in the Mayfair Plaza on Clio rd. between Pierson and Carpenter roads.
We remember there used to be a Goodie Barn, A&P and Perry's drugs. BUT, there used to be a store there in the 70's in the largest section of the plaza that we can't remember at all.
Do any of you happen to remember? My mother seems to remember it being a department store of some kind. We know that the Yankee store used to be in the hallwood plaza but can't remember what used to be the anchor store at mayFair.
Thanks for any thoughts! |

I remember the plaza and know before Goodie Barn there was a department store there but cannot remember the name. Used to be a nice area of Flint. |

There was a Woolco department store located in the Mayfair Plaza back in the mid late 70's. It closed in the early 80's.
