Maybe their are more business owners on the forum but they are reluctent to disclose that fact since they will be labled as evil by the libs on the forum. |

Not to mention that home based businesses are a no-no in Flint. |

Im sure ya noticed this in my post. There are a bunch of folks that do feel that business owners are greedy, mean spirited and down right selfish. |

http://mysearchisover.com I'm still able to get around the home business ordinance because it's not like the ones our possibly racist/anti-women ordinance that Flint has although the sign ordinance may impact me. |

Adam,Seeing that I have been in binesess longer than you are old, what "possibly racist/anti-women ordinance that Flint " does Flint have?
I assume that you know far more than I do regarding business & local goverment.
Please tell me how ever one is wrong and you are right!
I want to see some examples, not a cut and paste of a news story! |

We have home business restrictions. Statistically since Flint is majority black so this would impact black people more than whites. In addition if my memory is correct minorities and women are more likely to start home businesses.
If you analyze the ordinance rich white people in homes like Williamson should be pretty much unaffected by the ordinance.
We also have a ban on garage sale businesses which I suppose might help keep whites "on their side of the river" and from spending their money in the North end.
I've only been to one professional garage sale but it was in a white rural more Republican area I think just south of Davison twp. It was very nice. It was more like an antique shop.
On a "brighter" note liberals in Flint do do an excellent job of protecting Flint from those "annoying" low end jobs. We also "protect" people from other not as low end jobs with things like parking lot ordinances. Who needs new businesses to move in when they can't even pay the 1000's of dollars to upgrade their parking lots?
Even though our ordinances are rarely enforced they are still on the books and I think they do still have an impact. |

I'll make the assumption that you're not required to be proficient in spelling or punctuation in your line of work. Let's hope you take more pride in your work than you do your thoughts.
I do agree though that posters should credit the authors of their thoughts accordingly. I started to watch a vid that Adam had posted until I saw that it was 49m long. Gimme a break. |

The only business twotap seems to be in lately is applying a cheap ass label and making the broadest, most ridiculous generalizations I have ever seen.
Well done. |
