the first one is just ridiculous are you kidding me? a 61 year old woman was going to go to jail because she had a mccain= bush sign and they demanded she leave otherwise it was trespassing which is utter bull...

and the next vid... this one shows mccain clearly contradicting himself over and over and over

http://youtube.com/watch?v=GEtZlR3zp4c&feature=related

does anyone want this person to be our next president? i challenge you to watch the second video and still tell me you will vote for this man...

I'll vote for him. Obama's all scripted style, no substance.

i agree with you, Dave. obama has no substance. that's true. having said that, i'd still vote for him over mccain. we need someone in the white hoyuse who can kick start this economy and the dems have always been the party to do that!

I think many would say that the ability to "jump start the economy" is a pretty substanative skill.

Substanative? What is "substanative"? You mean substantial? Yes, it is a substantial skill, but Obama is the only one of the two that could do it. Now if Hillary were running for office........<grin>

You guys can keep dreaming if you think Obama or McCain is going to jumpstart our economy. The one good thing I see if Obama wins is we might have a chance to move away from socialism once the depression forces us to.

adam, you can't be serious. what's all this about moving away from Socialism? Once the depression forces us to? so you're saying there's a type of communism, a Marxism if you will, going on in this country right now? under Bush? come on, go back fifty years and learn what Socialism really is.

we need to jumpstart our economy with a dem - clinton, as much as you may not have liked him, did it. so did the other dems. that's why obama, painful as it is to say, is the right choice.

henry, i love (and also agree) with your replies to adam. that's why it makes it hard to say this:

"substan a tive" is what you originally said. which is quite different from what you defined as "substantive."

Right you are sir. If it makes any difference (and it probably shouldn't) the mistake had more to do with my inability to type as quickly as I think than my ability to spell.

At least I know the difference between the words "your" and "you're". If you ever catch me making that lunkhead mistake, just track me down and shoot me.

I see that mistake all over the web.

You're and your... my lifelong pet peeves.

This is turning up more and more even in the newspaper. This morning I saw a reporter had interchanged "effect" and "affect".

I find myself getting older and turning into a grammar Nazi.

All newspapers seem to have a lot more spelling & grammar mistakes lately. I expect better from college "educated" journalists. Is it laziness, or a reflection on our schools and institutions of higher learning?
