HOMECOMING
Make your plans now to attend Homecoming 2006 on October 13 & 14.
The festivities kick off with the last Free Friday of the year which
promises to be the best yet!
Welcome additions to the Art Walk include, Farmers Market Artists work displayed in the lobby of the Masonic Temple, treats at St. Paul's, and Cumulus broadcasting radio personalities.
Also, the Downtown Guerilla Art Show featuring crafters, artists, musicians, and others will be going on. As if that weren't enough, a classic car show will take place on Saginaw
Street at the same time!
Events begin at 6pm.
After the Art Walk, join us for a performance at Churchill's
featuring nationally renowned comedian Bryan McCree.
This is even is co-sponsored by Kappa Alpha Psi with the $5 cover charge goes into their scholarship fund.
9 – noon on Saturday, help beautify Kearsley Park where a new
ramp for the physically challenged was recently installed.
If you have a shovel, bring it with you.
Find out What's Up Downtown with an Uptown Tour from 2-4 starting at
the Flint Club office. Cap off Homecoming by attending a free
reception in the Capitol arcade featuring good food and live jazz
entertainment by Bobby Pizzazz & Friends immediately following the
Tour.
Please let us know your availability to volunteer and/or attend
Homecoming events. It promises to be a great time. Contact
