I'm not sure why this video continues to get deleted. It was written and directed by students at the Greater Flint Boys and Girls Club, and I thought folks around here would want to see it.
I can't imagine that it is offensive, except that it was a collaborative project by the Boys and Girls Club and Flint Club, which may be seen as a former mayoral candidate doing good things for Flint. I can see how that might get under one's skin.
Still, he was not involved in making this. I promise.
Besides, I was just curious to see what people think of the PSA. I think it is really clever.
The video is nicely done. I'm not too sure about its accuracy, however.

But you see, the video isn't really a news report, I'm not sure it has to do with that sort of "truth". The truth it really exposes, to me, is how much these kids want to have positive lives. "Be the change you want to see in the world." Through this, that's what they're doing. It's like they're telling us to stop being macabre voyeurs of their world and start fixing things so they can have a chance at the world they are portraying.

Very nice. Those kids are really talented. More proof that we need a real community media center! Maybe the Mott Foundation's sugar windfall could help with that.
