Okay, I feel a Martha Stewart moment comin' on and sure as stuff it ain't gonna last long...

One year I took the kids around dressed as a black eyed pea. Dark makeup around the eyes with a masking tape letter P affixed to my shirt...cute eh?

One year I spent a whole dollar on some cheap earrings and put dollar bills near my ears with the earrings.....I was a buccaneer. Get it? But the teens in the neighborhood guessed that I was a two dollar ho....Smile

Then one year, I put a maple leaf on my fishing hat, so it dangled off of the bill in front of my eyes. When someone asked what I was I would blow the leaf affixed to my hat and announce that I was a leaf blower..

I am running out of ideas for this year and none of these sound cute

Make a mask out of a paper bag. Color it Maize & Blue & draw tears running down from the eye holes. Use tape to put a big L on a sweatshirt. Go as a U of M fan. Laughing Laughing

Just pin a straw to your shirt, and be the Last Straw.

Pin socks all over yourself and be the place socks go when they disappear in the laundry.

Wear just an Army shirt and be an upper GI...

Leave it to a comedy dude. Smile

Thanks!! I like the last straw idea!!!

Of course, if I go as the upper GI thing that means that I have to go shopping for a shirt and other things that may be on clearance which could possibly lead me to a new pair of shoes....cool...thanks rusty!!! Smile

My family dresses in theme costumes. M & M's, SKittles, pirates, Wizard of Oz characters. Some businesses have different departments do themes. Last year my daughter and her co-workers were all different colored "Sharpies."

I saw one website where two people dress up in blue and wear name tags with different spellings of Jean, Gene etc. "A pair of blue jeans". Smile I will hopefully talk my daughter into this...Smile
