Haywood/$35,000.16 Water Service/Utility Super/L. Hippensteel/$90,001.60 Water&Sewer/Water Developement Coordinator/S Kayser/$85,001.28 Personnel/Director/D Pitts/$89,600.16 Finance/Dir. Constit. Services & Citizen Affairs/M. Randolph/$65,000.00 Budget/Budget Director/M. Townsend/$89,600.16 Office Of Mayor/Mayor/D. Williamson/$1.00 Law/Chief Legal/T. Young/$90,165.92 Park & Rec/Community Program/C Conley/$33,009.60 Office of Mayor/Mayor's Sec./K. Furze/$47,426.08 Office of Mayor/Mayor's Aide/J. Urdy/$33,009.60 So for the Mayor and his appointees we have a grand total of $1,147,062.76. Muliple that by 125% so that we can get a true cost with benefits and we have $2,580,891.21 . For how long before another election? Would all appointees continue under darryl as a puppet? Would there be a primary and then a general election? Would we be in chaos until next NOVEMBER? Voters need to know these answers. Your thoughts please? Peace, RAP As soon as the results are certified, presuming that he loses, the City Administrator is sworn in as the Acting Mayor. There would be a winner-take-all (no primary) election in May. The person elected would serve the remainder of the term. The Acting Mayor would not be able to fire any appointees without the consent of the City Council. And while I think that a majority of the people he has appointed are unqualified, those positions would still exist under a new Mayor. Kayser @ $85,000.00 + M Randolph @ $65,000.00 + C. Conley @ $33,000.00 + By the time you add benefits you have over $600,000.00 in waste. How many more cops could be on the streets with that money? How many houses could be demolished with that money? How many parks could be mowed with that money? How many Code Enforcers could be hired with that money? The priorities are screwed up.
