He was well known for donating to the NAACP while being the Mayor. It was also well known that he is currently being sued at his dealership for racial discrimanation. We will see all of the people that supported Williamson, like the NAACP, try to distance thereselves as fast as possible now that he is gone. You never really see the NAACP doing anything unless it will capture the headlines. If they truley cared, all they would have to do is look out there front window. There headquaters are across the street from the Regency Apartments in Flint. There are more hurting black families in that complex then anywhere I can think of. I haven't seen them down there helping out the people who need help. I think the NAACP hurts the black community more then it helps it. What have they done lately to help out. I did attend a meeting with them about foreclosures though. They were there with Jessie Jackson. They didn't do alot of helping but did ask for a $300.00 donation to assist there efforts. It made me sick to see them taking advantage of people down on there luck. _________________ No job, no income, no motivation, no problem Obama has your back.
