Gold Rush: Dems launch Operation Rushbo
"The strategy took shape after Democrats included Limbaugh’s name in an October poll and learned their longtime tormentor was deeply unpopular with many Americans. Then the conservative talk-radio host emerged as an unapologetic critic of Barack Obama shortly before his inauguration, when even many Republicans were showering him with praise.
Soon it clicked: Democrats realized they could roll out a new GOP bogeyman for the post-Bush era by turning to an old one in Limbaugh, a polarizing figure since he rose to prominence in the 1990s."
I'm not convinced the dems efforts to scapegoat Rush for what should turn out to be a failed stimulus will work.
Polls are already showing support for stimulus has slipped by over 10%

The more the Dems hammer rush the more his audience grows. They have been trying to silence him for a decade or two. Whats really funny is everytime they strut out some liberal talkshow host to counter rush the show goes down quicker than Barney Frank at a gay pride parade. |

I think Operation Rushbo is great for the Democrats. What better way to let the American people know that the Republican party is now run by wackos. It's going to take the Republicans years to recover from this. |

This is off Rushs home page a standing invitation to your boy the Messiah the chosen one Barack Hussein Obama to come on his program and have a one on one debate. I wonder if Mr slick speech maker will have the guts???
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"But I have an idea. If these guys are so impressed with themselves, and if they
are so sure of their correctness, why doesn't President Obama come on my show?
We will do a one-on-one debate of ideas and policies. Now, his people in this
Politico story, it's on the record. They're claiming they wanted me all along.
They wanted me to be the focus of attention. So let's have the debate! I am
offering President Obama to come on this program -- without staffers, without a
teleprompter, without note cards -- to debate me on the issues. Let's talk
about free markets versus government control. Let's talk about nationalizing
health care and raising taxes on small business.
Let's talk about the New Deal versus Reaganomics. Let's talk about closing
Guantanamo Bay, and let's talk about sending $900 million to Hamas. Let's talk
about illegal immigration and the lawlessness on the borders. Let's talk about
massive deficits and the destroying of opportunities of future generations.
Let's talk about ACORN, community agitators, and the unions that represent the
government employees which pour millions of dollars into your campaign,
President Obama. Let's talk about your elimination of school choice for
minority students in the District of Columbia. Let's talk about your efforts to
further reduce domestic drilling and refining of oil. Let's talk about your
stock market. By the way, Mr. President, I want to help. Yesterday you said
you looked at the stock market as no different than a tracking poll that goes up
and down".
Just come out of hiding, Mr. President, stop hiding behind your flunkies. Debate me right here on my radio program. You said you need diversity on the radio. You've said you want diversity on the radio, that there's too much conservatism on the radio. I'm offering you the biggest radio show in the country, to come on and get your ideas out there. Call it my offer of the Fairness Doctrine, extended to you, Mr. President. Not a flunky and not a former president, and not a secretary of state. You. Not Rahm Emanuel. He's got important work back in the White House advancing your agenda and continuing his off-the-record phone calls with media people, one of the purposes, apparently, is to demonize me. That's important work, but you can come here and defend your administration, and you can kill two birds with one stone: diversity in the media and bipartisanship. You're the leader of your party. You're the president. I'm the leader of your opposition, according to your flunkies. Nothing complicated here.

Well if hes not gonna go one on one with the leader of the republican party(His words by the way) than maybe he should quit with the comments directed Rushs way. He reminds me of someone who shoots his mouth off about a person he actually fears (and believe me libs like Barcako fear Rush) and when called out on it does the sissy bit. By the way the Messiah his highness Baracko might actually get some tips on how to get us out of the mostly Democrat caused mess of crap. Instead it looks like hes just gonna continue with the same old Lib playbook antics. |

Yeah but to be fair you also need to look at the stimuli geniuses running the democratic party as well. If there hadn't been any democrats in congress conservative Republicans might have been able to hold back comrade Bush and Bush wouldn't have had dems in congress to have big government expansion orgies with. |

Dems again take aim at Limbaugh who is fighting socialized medicine.
"WASHINGTON – A Democratic official rebuked conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh on Friday for suggesting a health care proposal will be named in memory of Sen. Edward Kennedy, who is battling brain cancer. On his radio show, Limbaugh said President Barack Obama's proposed health care revisions will be championed by "the liberal lion Teddy Kennedy."
"Before it's all over, it'll be called the Ted Kennedy Memorial Health Care bill," Limbaugh said." |
