According to Ambrose law group in Michigan you do not have the right to bear arms if those arms consist of:

Guns, Handguns, Pistol, Antique Firearm, Cane Gun, Wallet Gun, Sawed-Off Shotgun, Cane Sword, Dirk or Dagger, Knives, Kubatons, Brass Knuckles, Metal Knuckles, Black Jacks, Switchblades, Batons/Billy Clubs, Mace, Pepper Spray, Night Sticks, Nunchakus, Throwing stars, Shocking Devices, Explosive Devices, Explosive Agents, etc. Possession of these items can be grounds for felony charges.

Well maybe all the bangers and those planning to commit a felony while armed as well as all the convicted felons who frequent this forum might want to write down the number for the Ambrose Law group. Those of us who are legally carrying probably will not need to.

(2) A person shall not carry a pistol concealed on or about his or her person, or, whether concealed or otherwise, in a vehicle operated or occupied by the person, except in his or her dwelling house, place of business, or on other land possessed by the person, without a license to carry the pistol as provided by law and if licensed, shall not carry the pistol in a place or manner inconsistent with any restrictions upon such license.

Technically I feel my old blunderbuss would make the cut I mean to say I do not feel it is considered a "gun." Very Happy

What are the Michigan laws regarding "black power, ball & cap and shot?"

During the civil war a trained marksman could fire up to 3 rounds per minute, of course they were not hampered by having to take a hit on a crackpipe or trying to keep their baggy drawers up while being distracted by hiphop music blasting from those 14inch 4000 watt subwoofers.

The NRA is giving FREE 1-yr memberships to everyone
that wants to join. Please join and pass it around,
they are trying to build up their membership to fight pending legislation that impacts our right to bear arms.

I got this in an e-mail today. Wanted to pass it around to as many people as I can.

Good idea since they are just about the only ones who stand up against the gun banners and libwhackos. Thanks Ponycar.

I've heard the NRA bent over and took the assault weapons ban real good. I think you might want to check out Gun Owners of America .

The NRA is the stongest gun lobby out there. I was a member, but got tired of them hounding me for contributions all the time. I have recently renewed my membership. Gun ownership is a right, not a prviledge. The 2nd amendment of the constitution makes that clear.

NRA
Background Checks/ NICS
H.R. 2640, the "NICS Improvement Amendments Act"

"The NICS Improvement Amendments Act (H.R. 2640) would require federal agencies to provide relevant records for use in NICS. It would also provide financial incentives to states to do the same, by rewarding states that provide records to NICS and penalizing those that refuse to do so over an extended period of time.

Some pro-gun groups have claimed that H.R. 2640 would “prohibit” thousands of people from owning guns. This is not true; these bills would only enforce current prohibitions. In fact, H.R. 2640 would allow some people now unfairly prohibited from owning guns to have their rights restored, and to have their names removed from the instant check system."

Maybe we can get one of Rosie Odonnell's psychologists to give you an evaluation and use the NRA supported HR 2640 to have your guns confiscated.
