Hey, I vote for this given the fact that it is a real problem.

I wasn't making an accusation, I was simply trying to show that name calling isn't really a great way to engage in reasonable political discourse. |

I don't know about that but I do know I haven't seen millions of "green jobs" created like Master Obama promised. |

It isn't exactly done overnight, there's a lot of infrastructure that needs to be created and implemented. You have unreasonable expectations because you disagree with him ideologically. If Bush were calling for green jobs right now and they weren't here, you'd be defending him against criticism.
Take a step back into objectivity, it's a great state to be in |

Green technological jobs (i.e. manufacturing jobs that produce solar panels, wind turbines, or other electricity producing systems that are independent of fossil fuels). |

At the present time America runs on oil and will continue to do so well into the future. I see no attempt to keep up the demand for that while all these supposed replacements come on line. Windturbines, windmills, solarpanels, squirrels on a treadmill, not one or the combo of all of those will replace fossil fuels. If you have proof to the contrary I would like to see it otherwise we need to drill and drill now. |

Climate change isn't a myth. Also, fossil fuels are finite... not infinite. |

I was objective but after all those
green jobs
Granholm has created over the years I became a bit jaded.
Seems a bit misplaced for Granholm to spend billions of dollars to focus on a sector that only employs 109,067 in the whole state after the subsidies but maybe Master Obama will have more success right off the bat than our govornor who has been at this for years. Michigan has been a leader in the "green revolution" and job losses and unemployment.
I have this problem with focusing on results instead of abstract concepts like "hope and change".
Bush was a horrible president. He expanded the government and helped lead our nation to bankruptcy. Unfortunately it appears Obama may do even worse. |
