Tue Jul 14, 2009 9:49 am  mutt of flint F L I N T O I D the personal attacks on Palin? look, as much as you can call those personal attacks she let herself get set up. the wink? the fact that she can't intelligably answer a single question without making the sort of response that miss teen south carolina would set up to be ridiculed. if your going to say something stupid, you better be ready for someont to call BS. what about the personal attacks against obama? people called him a terrorist, a racist, a socialist, a baby killer, questioned his elegibility to run, whether hes a US citizen, and all on the grounds of what proof? which would you rather be called? a moron or a terrorist? the reason she makes non-republicans and even republicans nervous is because she's a lot like bush. she poorly ran a large state, she can't even read a teleprompter, she puts her foot in her mouth and makes it sound like she never even said it, she gives unintelligable answers, she thinks she's mightier than the god she worships in a religion she preaches, but doesn't follow. she's bush with boobs. the attacks on her were set up by her, because she was so ditzy. _________________ I'm not a polarized. deal with it. She did a good job of mobilizing the base, but there was no way they would win an election against such a historical candidate like Barack Obama simply due to the fact that they needed to try and capture independent and moderate voters... Palin was not the V.P. choice that could do that. What Obama did was rescind the prohibition that bush put in place on federal funding going to international NGOs (non-governmental organizations) who perform family planning services. Services such as providing birth control as well as abortion. So, as part of our foreign policy, as the wealthiest country in the world, we have supported programs like this for years. It is our moral imperative. Now, you wish to not only dictate what American women do with their bodies, but also women from other countries. For example, an African woman raped by a member of a death squad is doomed to have the child in your opinion, no? Again, this doesn't prove anything you said. If these policies were merely about abortion you'd have more of a point, but they are not.
