We already have death panels with medicaide and also with insurance companies to a lesser degree.
Less innovation could probably be more overcome if we had health care freedom in America.
Most all of the new "innovative tratments" involve toxic drugs anyways.
We need to repeal the deadly farm bill that is arguably worse than Al Qaeda.

Oh Adam, trying to talk sense to twotap is like trying to explain to a 5 yr old child the physics of the earth's rotation. I appreciate your sentiment here, however - I have appreciated for some time now that the "teabaggers" and opponents to HC reform keep talking about "Death Panels" of course failing to realize that Insurance Companies regularly make decisions about who, how and if somebody will be covered. It's the same damn thing, but when the government does it, "DEATH PANELS! THEY WANT TO KILL PEOPLE!" Ignorance in its own right is never a problem, failing to address ignorance has to be a form of retardation.

I am having trouble understanding this statement. I'm not attacking the statement, just curious if you could expand on it a little.

If my memory is correct the government death panels are worse. And with new government rationing we should be looking at major death panels.
I'm a very big fan of alternative medicine. I believe people should be allowed to choose who they want to see and what treatment they want and not have to go to Mexico for example.

If depends on how strong you think Al Qaeda is. I'm not convinced they are capable of wiping out a major city with the protections we have in place.
The farm bill encourages millions of Americans to eat unhealthy obesity/cancer causing diets. I'd estimate it helps lead to far more than 2,993 deaths per year.
