Word around town is a number of Dems are upset that Dale Kildee decided to run again. kildee, born in September 1929 and a Representative since 1976, is felt by many to be too frail to win the seat again. Recently Dale has been said to have to be helped out of his car and has skipped over entire paragraphs of his speeches. They say Dan Kildee would have run if Dale had stepped down.
It doesn't help the Dems that the politically savvy John Kupiec is running against Kildee. John, an advertising executive, has written and produced some of the best political pieces to come out of Genesee County.

I just reviewed the sites for Kupiec and was extremely impressed. I never knew he had a farm and was so devoted to conservation. Impressive biography.

Hell! Why don't they dispense with the charade of holding elections and just give a crown to the Kildee family? Just throw out the whole pesky election process and save the cash for building the Kildee Palace. |

There are a number of Black Republicans. Kupiec seems like a good alternative to a senile Democrat. |

As a white woman I wouldn't either!
Oh and don't trouble yourself with the trolls that have found their little bridge to hide under here in Political Talk, unless you find that kind of thing to be amusing -- in which case, have at 'em. |

Actually, Lakewoman, in all reality, may be a white person . Many of us here have thought that for a while. Someone who likes to pose as a black woman. Weird but some people are like that. |

He has been given handlers to assist him in getting around the capitol. Makes you wonder who is really leading the office.
Byrd was 92 and while frail looking he could still mentally sound and could bring an audience to their feet. Kildee is frail both mentally and physically. His mental acumen seems to come and go. |
