Councilman, what is the status of the foot patrol initiative? How often will these officers be patrolling and how many per shift? Will they begin patrolling soon? Can the council's new grant committee get the ball rolling? This is getting obnoxious. |

That is not a question for Freeman-You should ask the administration. The foot patrol grant was negotiated between Walling, MSU and the Mott Foundation.
The charter strictly forbids Council from interference in the administration and this isssue has been successfully fought in court.
The only reason you would harangue Freeman about this foot patrol would be to protect the administration. Walling and his cohorts are the only answer to your question. |
