Author    Post   untanglingwebs El Supremo Walling has a radio show every Thursday and it apppears that we pay for his radio access and staffing by Dawn Jones, his host. This week a lady really challenged him as to why the police grant was not being implemented and his response was that six officers had been brought back. Only sources reveal they are not part of the grant and are really only replacements for officers that have retired. At least two police academies are at or very near retirement status. If retired they are young enoiugh to get other jobs. Cuts in their salaries and benefits could drastically influence their future retirements. These same sources say the grant has not been implemented as of yet and may not involve all six grant funded positions. HERE WE GO AGAIN. WHERE IS THE TRANSPARENCY?
