The word is the city is encouraging Pastor Latreille Holmes to return to the steering committee. Holmes said he left because the steering committee found out about decisions at the same time the public did.
The community is having difficulty with the majority of decisions allegedly being made on the master plan and other situations being made by the elite leadership down town.
Is this true transparency or another Brown scam? have they been posting the times and locations of these meetings.
Flint master plan steering group launches new web site

FLINT, MI -- The group behind the city's master planning process has launched a new web site for sharing information with the public.
The site, www.steeringflintforward.com, contains frequently asked questions, meeting minutes and other information gathered by the master plan steering committee.
The group meets once a month to work on the master plan, the city's first since 1960.
The process is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. |
