Author    Post   Dave Starr F L I N T O I D Senate majority leader Harry Reid announced that a ban on "assault weapons" and large capacity magazines would not be introduced in the Senate due top the fact that he couldn't count on 40 votes, let alone the 60 that would be required to defeat any possible filibuster. In other news, Colorado's governor said he will sign the State's ban on large capacity magazines today. Magpul, a manufacturer of magazines and other gun accessories said they will shut down operations as soon as the bill is signed and move their business and 600+ jobs out of the state. The job numbers do not include supplier jobs. Magpul buys the majority of their supplies from Colorado suppliers. _________________ I used to care, but I take a pill for that now.
