FLINT (WJRT) - (12/08/14) - The City of Flint is trying to figure out the best way to tackle a water main break.
It's on Beecher Road just west of Ballenger.
City officials tell ABC12 the break is at the end of the Flint water system line.
They have to isolate the break before they can repair it so it doesn't impact water pressure at the nearby McLaren Flint campus. |

I am told that this break occurred on the weekend and it did impact the McLaren Cancer Center. Allegedly the City initially refused to have employees work overtime to resolve this issue. Additionally, even after the City finished the job Thursday, the McLaren Campus was said to still be impacted. |

This water main was dug up numerous times. Any time a line is subjected to sol, e coli and bacteria are an issue. What ramifications could this break have manifested. |
