Recently, an email was sent to Chick-fil-A expressing concerns about the opening of a new location in Flint Township, Michigan. The email raised questions about potential traffic congestion and the impact it could have on the local community. As a Chick-fil-A fan, I was curious to know more about the situation and the company’s response.
In the email, the writer highlighted concerns about the location’s proximity to I75, a major highway, and how it could cause problems with traffic. The writer also pointed out that there is already a Popeyes Chicken location nearby that has caused traffic problems in the past. The writer asked if Chick-fil-A had conducted a traffic study and if measures would be taken to avoid similar problems.
In response, Chick-fil-A provided information on how they strive to be good neighbors and serve guests as quickly and efficiently as possible. The company shared that in many restaurants where they have implemented mobile app or website ordering, online deliveries, and dual drive-thru lanes, they have reduced lines by 60 percent.
Chick-fil-A also confirmed that they will be opening their first restaurant in Flint in the fall of 2023, and that construction will begin this spring. The location will feature a dual-lane drive-thru to better serve guests and reduce overall traffic flow.
As a Chick-fil-A fan, I appreciate the company's commitment to being a good neighbor and addressing concerns from the community. It's great to see that they are taking steps to ensure traffic flows smoothly and that guests can be served quickly and efficiently. I look forward to trying out the new location in Flint and experiencing the company's hospitality firsthand. |
